Grooming Swan

Caught a few swams grooming themselves while floating around.
Tried to compose the shot so the arc of the birds neck just filled the frame.

Quite happy with it, it’s one of few “pretty bird” photos I seem to have been sharing with you lately. Just looking back at the last couple of days, it does appear as though I’ve gotten a bit of a bird fetish recently doesn’t it? I shall have to make sure this doesn’t continue in the upcoming week.

pretty chicken

I felt that in comparison to the ugly chicken, Pretty Chicken was really pretty, just a shame about the cage around his face.

Ugly Chicken

This is the ugliest chicken I’ve ever seen. Ever.
Even the PP I did to warm up the image didn’t help the poor ugly bugger.

Not sure of the name of this bird. It was sharing a cage with the peach faced Lovebirds but I’m not sure if they are a type of lovebirds themselves…

I doubt it, angry little thing, look at him..
